Honor and Respect

My message "Honor and Repect" is very direct, I am expressing Ancestral unity from both our Black and Brown indigenous roots. It is meant to provoke thought, a journey of self realization through the understanding and process of decolonization. I feel I was able to capture what the community expressed, with the focus being on Black and Brown Unity you can see the imagery I used to display that were the Egyptian pyramids and the Mayan temples, with the Jaguar and Panther being representations of our warrior spirits.

Ancient Universal Xpressionz is a acronym for AUX. Aux is a style writer based in South Central, Los Angeles. Acrylics, paint markers, and aerosol spray paint are his mediums of choice. Mastering all the letters of the alphabet, diversity of styles, structures with formation, unorthodox color combinations, and words that uplift our Human spirit. The drive and inspiration to create comes from the positive impact art gives to our communities, the unexpected smiles and interactions with people from all different cultures, and the Love that forms us as one Human race. Serving as a beacon of light for those on a journey of realizing our dreams.
