THE MURAL IS ABOUT WATER CONSERVATtoN. THE WORD PAYA COMES FROM THE PAIUTE TRIBE WHICH MEANS WATER IN ENGLISH. WHAT THIS MURAL DESCRIBES IS THAT WITHOUT WATER WE HAVE NO LIFE. WE ALL NEED TO LEARN TO CONSERVE WATER OR •KNOW PAYA• BECAUSE IF WE DON'T, WHAT THIS MURAL DESCRIBES IS THAT WITHOUT WATER WE HAVE NO LIFE. WE ALL NEED TO LEARN TO CONSERVE WATER OR •KNOW PAYA• BECAUSE IF WE DON'T, WE HAVE •No LIFE•. NO WATER TO DRINK FOR US OR OUR ANIMALS, NO WATER TO MAKE FOOD OR WATER OUR GARDENS. WITHOUT THIS VALUABLE RESOURCE WE LOSE EVERYTHING AND WE END UP LIKE HOW THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MURAL DESCRIBES. WE NEED TO GO BACK TO CONSERVING WATER SO WE CAN FLOURISH JUST LIKE THE PAIUTE TRIBE DOES, JUST LIKE THE LEFT SIDE OF THE MURAL DESCRIBES.

About the Artist

I'm a multi-talented, well known graffiti artist, instructor, and muralist from Los Angeles. I started my painting journey in 1982 in New York through my cousins and I continued to emerge as a legend in Los Angeles. Throughout my career I have instructed students and taught themthe history of graffiti art. I have exhibited my paintings on canvasses, walls, murals, art shows, and clothing. My work has appeared in the movie "Training Day" and have been featured in the media being interviewed regarding my art murals and specials reports on graffiti. My talent isn't only limited to painting but also to metal. I restore classic cars and create them from the bottom up. I consider myself to be a perfectionist and take pride in my artwork and the cars I have restored, and I am extremely professional and demonstrate integrity to my work.
