41st  and Central is a celebration of the hood. It symbolizes unity between black and brown by showcasing two women that represent the roots of the Black Panther party and the Chicano Zoot Suit history in LA. It is a reminder that our cultures are intertwined and that our existence is a sign of resistance against oppressive forces.
